E55 steering wheel to a w209 wheel

Hi guys sorry if this has been asked before I am thinking of changing my w211 steering wheel to a w209 steering wheel with the flappy paddles and I am wondering if this would fit and if anything else is needed for the swap.

No need to change your steering wheel. Just replace the buttons with G paddles.

Thank you for the rapid response my paddles don’t work I believe it’s something to do with the wiring within the steering wheel. Plus I do quite like the look of the w209 wheel.

Hi guys thought I’d update you on the steering wheel front so I managed to change get a used wheel from a breakers and it was a straight swap.

Thanks mate it was actually really easy once I sorted out the overly tightened bolts and it makes the whole interior look much newer then it is
