Hi - I have a 1992 SL500 which i have owned previously and bought back only yesterday - The car has only covered 1000 miles in almost 6 years and everything worked perfectly when i previously owned it. However, i tried to lift the hardtop yesterday and after a few attempts the latches released enabling me to lift off the hard top. I then tried to raise the soft top but the roof light button was lit up. I raised the roof manually and when i tried to lower the roof with the button the latches would release but thats where everything stopped. The oil was low but not below minimum so we topped that up - the roof bar is working perfectly and at good speed but the roof wont complete its opening action. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks, dave
