eco display

Hi, I have a 2012 c250 coupe and despite the manual stating there should be an option to show a eco display on the screen mine doesn't have the option. Could a member who has a c250cgi confirm if they have this or not on there car before I query it with the dealer. Cheers.

I have the eco option on mine. There is a button next to the hazard lights that switches the function on and off and it should turn green on the display when it is ready to be used.

I think the OP is referring to fuel consumption display on the central screen not the stop/start system?

If I've assumed right, then press the "SYS" button on the centre console and I think that's where you'll find what you're looking for.

Yes, I've tried that and no sub menu for eco display in either the main screen or instrument panel menus despite it stating in the manual. Been in touch with dealer this morning and they seem to think its not on the 250 engine but need to confirm with Mercedes UK

If you press the sys key on the main console then use the command wheel to push up and then scroll right it should be there

That's it, it isn't dealer seems to think its not on the 250 model

It maybe a diesel only thing.

When the dealer says "It's not on the 250 engine" it's probably not "on petrol engines".

Anyone else on here with a facelift petrol C confirm if they have this?

I think red c220 has a point, come to think of it I have only ever seen it on diesel cars

You need to get to the screen that shows the Clock

Once there, go full screen and then turn the dial left or right and it's there

There isn't a menu option for it

Not on mine, only the clock option.

Its not on my C180 (Petrol) either but is on my Dad's C200 (diesel)

Its not good for his car as the graph tops out at 50mpg, and he averages 55mpg on most runs.

^ as above, it's entirely superfluous, even on a diesel.

I have the SLK with the same Petrol engine as the C Class Coupe and i have the Eco, Display.
