EDC light!!

Hi all. I have the EDC light on my 2005 sprinter 311. However the light seems to be dim and not bright. Anyone else ever had this problem?

Never heard of EDC light before, but this is what Google found:

'The EDC Light is "Electronic Diesel Control" This light will come on when there is any fault with the engine management such as a faulty sensor etc.'

Looks like you'll need to have the fault codes read with a scanner, either STAR (ideally) or iCarsoft/Carly etc.
