Wonder if anyone can help, opened my boot earlier and the shelf didn’t fold back but I noticed the “wire” coming out the side as the boot lifted open and went back in when closed, anyone know how or who could fix this and is it an easy fix. ?

Did you ever get this resolved? My wire is sticking out permanently and the raising mechanism doesn’t work. Hoping it’s still under warranty.

Hi bud. I did not, the wire just came out and I left it until I can find somewhere who can fix

No worries. Thanks for replying. Mine goes in for a service in Jan and I’m going to ask them to fix it under warranty hopefully

If you still have warranty they should fix it.

On my previous 2017 C300h they replaced both motors under warranty.

If you can it in to them beforehand just to have a quick look they may order the parts before your service, otherwise you will need to wait as they come from Germany.
