Electronic key

I just bought my self 2002 CLK320, the electronic key working just fine except it doesn't open or closes the windows and sunroof. What do you think the problem is?

Maybe global locking isn't a feature? If you insert key and hold in lock or close position do they all open or close?

Try it this way, close the door, point the key at the black square on the door handle and keep to less than 100mm from the lock, then press and hold the lock button.

Here you go, you probably just need to repair the IR receiver in the door.

Convenience feature not working!! | Engine

Mercedes c class W205 remote convenience feature where you can open / close windows and sunroof - is not working!! I keep holding the unlock button on the remote but nothing happens!!? is this suppose to work only in summer when it’s hot. Doesn’t it work during not so hot days? Any help will...

It is a feature, it has to be. I had it in my old 1997 c class. I think all recent Mercedes have this feature, i tried inserting the key still didn't work. Thanks anyway for replying.

Even if you don't have a sunroof, the four Windows should open or close,
