Hi can any one shed any light on this error only had the car five days there is no lose of power it hasn't gone into limp mode.The car carnt go in till Tuesday of next week so am I doing any harm by running it or should I park it up till the garge can take a shufty at it any advise on what the problem may be

Oh it's a s320 cdi on an 05

I think we need a bit more info - when did the message appear? Does it come back every time you start the car? Is the Engine Management Light coming on? There's not usually any mileage in guessing at faults like this when a STAR machine will reveal all.

To be honest the warning is intermittent for instance it was on all day yesterday every time I turn on and off it was there this morning on the way to the shops it was on and on the way back it had cleared its self

You really should get the fault codes read on a STAR machine - it's the best way forward.

Will take it back on tuesday to the dealer where I bought it hopefully they will have a star machine

Will a star machine show that it had a fault or does the fault have to be showing at the time because like I said earlier it's intermittent fault
