Has any one suceeded to load the epc that are advertised on the Bay?

Yeah - no problem on my laptop. I got the WIS and EPC from the same guy. The only problem is that the databases seem to automatically run in the background (from boot up, even when you aren't running the software) and consume lots of memory. This makes my machine (which is only a 800MHz T23) run very slowly. I have thought about trying to add another user (XP) to try and get round the problem.

If anyone wants to do a deal on a copy of this software PM me.

Which version of the epc? The DVD or the 2 cd version?
I made the mistake of buying a copy of the 2cd version. Got it working but it only covers US LHD vehicles.
I complained and got a refund (less postage).

I think they only cover North American cars so not much use for the C250td apart from generic stuff and not the engine.

Thats right the 2cd version I bought is the north american version and doesn't cover my c200 either.
Complain to ebay/paypal and you should get a refund.(I did)
I would like to get a working UK version but am not risking another epc on ebay.

Mine's the USA version also. But my car (CLK) is in the database. All part numbers have been good (so far!.....)

i got 2 DVD version of the WIS - it is the europe one. The EPC is the US version but i think the part numbers are the same.... aslong as the car in the US is also available in the UK.

The DVD's work well for Smarts! They don't even have them in the US where the discs came from but it is a lot easier to give our local dealer a part no to order than get them to order what they think!

After 3 attempts for a wing mirror and 6 months for a sticker they have been well worth buying!

I have bought a 2 dvd version of wis on ebay installed it on my pc but when i try to access info it asks for a dvd. I insert it but it just ignore it . Help any ideas? :bannana:

A few years back I bought a 2 CD version and it was a pain to install and get running. Eventually it turned out that I needed to have both CD's online at the same time. Binned it in the end

Does anyone know of a good DVD version (ebay seller?) that works well for UK cars?

i use the 2 cd version - i also used a 'copy' of a virtual CD drive program to get round the 'need two cds in at the same time' problem..

also have the 5 CD wis.

Neither cover the sprinter... anyone help me on this one?
