Does anyone know if they are any good. Going on the rear of 08 cls.

Must admit I've not heard of these so did a bit of Googling, seem to be on sale at Amazon & Ebay, Are they any good? No idea, but they look cheap so could be chinese rubbish!!
I would stick to a well known brand...personally, I use Brembo pads & discs.

Never skimp on brakes nor tyres. They both have you and your family to protect.

Stick to a name you’ve heard of EBC, Mintex, Ferodo, Brembo, etc you’ll sleep easier....and stop quicker!

£23 for pagid @ euro car parts

Was a bit curious seemed cheap think will get some mintex by the look of it had them before and were ok will push the boat out a bit more when tge fronts need doing

Mintex are not really a leading brand, try MB Newcastle on their eBay site for discounted MB brake parts, then you know that thy will fit and perform as intended by the manufacturers or look on ECP or GSF , both of whom have large discount offers on this weekend.

Peter if I was you I'd buy either Brembo or Pagid. You can find them at very good prices on euro car parts.
By the way what garage do you use for brakes/pads? My E-Class needs new discs/pads as well.

If you want to save even more money, just use custard cream biscuits instead for brake pads. I'd avoid bourbons as they are a little bit more expensive.

:D
I like custard creams may look into choc digestive route

Change them myself

Don't discount getting them from Mercedes. Mercedes Newcastle on eBay are incredibly well priced at the moment.

I know it's late to reply.
However, I've seen people name dropping as if they're friction experts.
I myself work in this field for a living.
Eurobrake are a rebranded arm of NK. An independent German firm that paired up with NK. They have a parent firm called SBS and are Danish, one of the biggest names in friction and known for OEM on motorcycles.
As for the Silly people going in about Brembo OE from euro car farts. They are just a rebranded Allied Nippon pad. Which has come from India and sometimes China. They're the same as Comline. Sire they're ECE R90 approved. But thats all.

Eurobrake are all mad win Europe.
Sorry it's an old post. Jist fed up of people who are NOT in the know acting like they are right as they have experience from it all cos they never heard of the name. Then the Other formula 1 fans saying they're junk and must be similar to a digestive biscuit mas if their sarcasm makes them intelligent.

I have heard of SBS brakes as have owned bikes for 40 years.
I'm surprised your not in favour of Brembo, I've used Brembo in the past without issue, they are generally well thought of and still used OEM for many high performance cars and bikes.

What does "Eurobrake are all mad win Europe" mean ?

So you are saying Brembo are rubbish due to China origin and Eurobrake are great due to Europe origin?

Ashlee has chucked a grenade into the great brake debate, but if he works in the industry its worth listening to. Its too easy to throw in well known brands name of anything into the mix, but how much better, or worse are they than similar brands. Lets face it when changing brakes or tyres, its because they are worn, so anything initially is better, but are they in the long run. I am looking to replace the rear discs on my S63 AMG Coupe next year & have been trying to see if aftermarket or OEM are the way to go & what make. I also was looking at Brembo, but ???? I would also like to fit ceramic pads due to less dust, but stopping the car is the pre-requisite. So Ashlee, what would you recommend

If you are based in the UK. Then I would recommend a set of Coated Discs. Something like NK or Eurobrake Coated Discs. They're high Carbon, the same as the factory Disc by Mercedes. As for Pads. you have two ceramic option. The first one would be "Jurid White". Jurid are actually OEM supplier for many BMW Models.
My next would be ATE Ceremaic.
The next brand would be "TEXTAR E-Pad". they need to still produce an epad option for many models. However, they are quickly growing their catalogue in this range.

To throw another name into the mix, which is my personal favourite. I love Fremax Discs, as they're all high carbon, feature concentric nano grooves for easy bedding in. The non contact surfaces are painted too. The hub and the vents. They also don't need cleaning as come with a dry-oil coating.
If you paired them up with the "Jurid White" pads, you would be very content.

If you're in the US, Akebono have a very nice ceramic range too.

thank you for the question, it was a good one.
