Looking for a first aid kit for my 2001 E320CDI - it was missing when I got the car. If anyone has just the zippered bag (think that's what it is), that will do, as I can transfer the contents from the kit I used in my previous car, which now won't fit in the stowage.

Ebay... they always turn up there.

Alternatively, they can't be that much from the stealership as they hve use by dates and are therefore consumable/disposable items.

They are about £30-40 from the stealership depending on model.

If you've never used it and never replaced it and you have a used car over 3 or 4 years old, the chances are it's already expired!

Yeah, mine was already expired, and the car purchase checklist from the dealer had a tick adjacent to the 'First aid present' box regardless if it was out of date or not

Incidently there was a first aid kit on ebay yesterday and I emailed asking about the expiry date as it wasn't published.. seller probably thought I was talking about the auction, as I got no response!

Found one on Ebay for £3 + £2 postage! It arrived today, brand-new with everything still sealed - expiry dates that I've found are July 2004. Things like survival blankets, bandages and scissors will be retained and I'll replace all the items which have an obvious life.

Well, at least I wasn't bidding against you ;)

My car had a brand new one put in last year, when I checked the car out originally I was sure it had one but you know what? After I bought it and drove it about 350 miles home I found it was missing. Typical! I bought one from the stealership and paid about £25 or something because they had one in stock and felt sorry for me ;) . Expiry dates are all 3 or 4 years in the future.

..you mean somebody took it? (i.e. when car was in service/MOT/repair etc)

I mean in the gap between me checking the car out on the forecourt and me actually buying the car a week later someone took it (probably the seller). It was probably all expired anyway.
