- 22 May 2022: New OEM Steering Rack @ Wayne Gates (£954). Steers like a new car!
- Drivers side lumbar support has a slow leak somewhere (possibly a hose). Auto Audio changed the lumbar air bladder in 2015 but it didn’t resolve the issue. I was advised to just to re-inflate with the seat button if and when needed as it only takes a few seconds
- There are two small parking dents - on the rear left door and rear left arch. I have not fixed them because bodyshops have told me they need to blend over three panels of original paint! I don’t do smart repairs. Apart from that there are a few barely visible stone chips and some bonnet patina from motorway driving.
- I recently replaced the Driver’s Keyless Entry door handle. The others have stopped working over time, but it’s not possible to get them from the factory currently - the ones in stock at the factory are a bad batch with reversed polarity, and in a response to my MB Dealer (Bedford) the factory said they will not manufacture anymore colour coded handles unless more owners complain!

- Original COMAND Nav head unit also supplied in box - these antiques still command good money on eBay!
- You’ll also get a box of goodies containing OEM Mercedes oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, ATF fluid, touch up paint, dip stick, extra wheel nuts, extra locking nuts, etc.
