For those whom it irks to subsidise Rupert Murdoch but would still like to see the Bernie Ecclescake Formula 1 show, be aware that it is possible if you have a satellite set-up. Okay if you have a satellite set up you probably have Sky but in the interests of public service I will waffle on.
Formula 1 is broadcast free to air in Germany, France, Italy and probably a few more places. The Astra channel located at 19 degrees E of South. For those who are still nostalgic for the inane babblings of Murray it sounds almost the same, especially in Italian.
One of the German channels, it might be DSF, has a classic pre and post review with a roomful of Schumi dress-alikes. I guess if Mik-a-el wore a dress, they would too.
I will probably miss it as the specatacle of big boys Scalextric with competition wheel changing is less exciting than the local speed milk drinking competition.
