Found this link which brings back so many memories. As a boy, my brother and I would be taken around the country by the old man to watch the big saloons and just loved it.
Frank Gardner was my hero, while brother opted for Brian 'Yogi' Muir. Big camaros, Ford Falcons, Broadspeed Escorts, Mustangs, Capris, Imps etc.
Now I know where my passion for big motors comes from. Thanks Dad
