So....I decided to buy the kit.

Strangely I dont have a W124 anymore!

I will either have to buy one and fit the kit or think about selling on.

Spur of the moment Ebay purchases - Doh!

So...picked it up today. Not quite as advertised. After I bought it, the guy said it had some filler in the front bumper, which wasn't noticeable, but there is a lot of fibreglass inside. I take it it must have hit a speed bump and snapped at some point. I didn't have a chance to chat with the seller when I picked it up, as the kit was at a garage who had dismantled his car for scrapping.

It will be fine once fitted I'm sure. (fingers heavily crossed!)

One of the side skirts if also badly and I mean badly cracked (the top bit that screws to the underside of the car, so again not visible, but at the moment, it will need a lot of plastic welding or filling!

I now just need to find a car to fit it to, otherwise it will sit in the garage. Anyone got a nice coupe for sale?

Anyone handy with a plastic welder or any tips?

What's the best way to strip thick paint from a plastic bumper?

Ian
