Funny Noise from Audio 10 Unit

Any ideas folks....??

Have an audio 10 unit in my W203 2004 model (pre f/l) and it seems to have developed a rattle/noise when the ignition is switched off. It's like the niose you may get if the CD gets stuck or has a scratch on it - in this case my CD is in perfect condition - and sometimes the noise happens when there is no cd in anyway.

It still plays CDs ok when the car is running and the noise only happens on taking the key out to get out the car.

What is wrong with it and how can I fix it???

I suspect it is the CD loading motor trying to go the wrong direction, we have had this type of fault before. I suggest you contact you local repair agent.
