funny noise...

Hi all,
I was just wondering if this is normal.. Car is a W124 E220 (year 1994)

When I give it full throttle... the car sounds normal until it reaches 5000rpm... After that, the car seems to turn into an aeroplane (noise wise), giving off a "weeeee" noise...

Is this normal?
It certainly does sound beefy anyway lol

Do you happen to have one of those deer warning supersonic whistlers on the front of your bumpers? LOL.

Is it a belt screeching pour some water onto the belt when its making the noise if it goes away then its time for a new belt

I'm rather sure it's not belt related..
It's like I have a hole in the airbox or something...
