Hi
I have just purchased a 1997 E220 Convertible and having got it home have found several electrical problems.
There are a few fuses missing.
I am looking for the diagram that is usually stuck to the inside of the fuse box cover. Would really appreciate if someone could send me a link or if they have the same model if the could send me a picture from their car.
I am also look for the user manual, paper or electronic versions.
Thanks in advance

Is this the last of the w124 chassis cars? If so the fuse box will be similar to the saloon/coupe with perhaps some addditions for the soft top?

Hi
I have searched online a lot and none seem to show the one for the convertible roof.
I just want to make sure as I am having a lit of electrical issues.
I found that fuse 5 has been removed.
When I replaced it then the engin does not switch off with the ignition key.
The only way to switch it off is to remove fuse 5.

Yes it is the last of the W124 chassis as far as I know.
I am hoping someone on the forum has the same model and year. That way I may be able to get a copy of an actual one.
Thanks for the links. I will check them again

Hi,
Back after a while.
So the story continues. I managed to get the electrical gremlins on the E220 W124 sorted out.
Also go the roof working, well sort of. At least it will now open and works really well.
The issue I now have is that once open it will not close.

Has anyone had this problem?
Did you manage to fix it? How?
What and where should I be looking?

I have a feeling that something is not releasing the latch/switch/sensor somewhere so the rear shelf cover that houses the roof
is not getting released so it is not opening.

Would really welcome any suggestion as to where I go next.

Thanks as always.
