Hi Guys,
Bit of a wait on this one, but finally I have 5 minutes to finally get it up! Grab a cuppa
Well here it is in all its glory upon arrival! The car was booked in for my full signature new car advanced CS TSP protection detail.
First job was clean the wheels with bilberry wheel cleaner. As you will be aware the LF is supplied with centre nuts, so was a case of using the full wheel woolly range and a lot of patience to clean every square inch of the wheels.
Once wheels and callipers were cleaned, tyres & arches were scrubbed using surfex HD and all given a thorough rinse off. It was time to treat the inside exhaust tips with Gtechniq W6 iron fallout remover and agitated with wheel woollies.
Once rinsed off the engine bay and body was degreased using Gtechniq W5 citrus degreaser.
Then it was onto a complete snow foam bath with Gtechniq snow foam & rinsed off after approx 5-8 minutes.
Then onto 2bm wash using Gtechniq Gwash and a carpro mitt for the top half and optimitt for the lower half.
LF was then given a chemical bath using W6, re washed and given a final rinse off at 60’ degrees. The car was then dried using a combination of a super plush 70/30 towel & air blow dryer to remove water from all shuts, gaps, badges & grilles.
Car was then clayed using Elite car cares very own medium grade clay and meguiars last touch for lubrication.
Then the LF was given a full IPA wipe down to remove clay sling and silicone fillers from all surfaces to leave a true finish. Then onto the inspection with the sun gun. As you can see you may expect a car of its calibre to be in perfect condition. But if you’re educated enough on the subject, no new car ever is. Here’s a couple of shots of various defects including swirls, D.A. sanding marks, rids & straight scratches.
A couple of cool shots of the various compounds of the vehicle under Bluetooth microscope,
A scuff in the lacquer,
Lime scale mark on the roof,
Fine scratches in the roof,
Bug splatter mark on front lenses,
Moisture trapped in front ppf,
Sweet close up of the carbon used on various parts of the car,
