I'm thinking of bidding on these. Anyone know if they are genuine MB parts?

Thanks,
Steve

Yuk!! One mans food and all that. Our mats were part and parcel of the purchase. They are not that expensive and for winter use we have the heavy duty rubbet mats.

Black is not the easiest of carpets to keep clean.

John

This is a genuine carpet from my 211. I cannot comment on the alleged genuine articles on Ebay.

quote 'have Mercedes wrote on them' - that's enough to put me off.
But also they are nothing like either my 211 or B Class mats.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll be steering clear of those then. I thought it might be a new style for the W211 or something along the lines of the 'Evolution' mats that they do for the C Class Coupes.

Identical to my one in terms of colour and metal plate badge. Is your interior Orion Grey by any chance?

OEM MB mats will always have the MB star in addition to Mercedes Benz printed on them on the drivers' side only on a silver metal plate. This applies to the current latest style mat.

The guy's in Ireland so if you say it with an Irish accent it somehow seems a bit more acceptable!

Hi Flash,
Sorry about the delay in responding (I blame the defective e-mail notification )

Our interior is called Palma Grey :) It might have a different name for different models? :)

John
