Was W204, now X253, GLC 220d Prem+
Just got my replacement delivered tonight in the dark, waiting until tomorrow to inspect.

However, went out to get manual (yep, some blokes do read them😂) and noticed driver door puddle light is different colour to all the rest.

Could any knowledgable 253 owners advise: Is this an adjustable feature or just the first glitch under warranty?

I am afraid that the light that is glowing purple is starting to show the first signs of failure. I had all 4 puddle lights on my 2016 C Class die within the first year of the cars life. The LED units have had a revamp to keep moisture out and normally now last several years. The units should be replaced free of charge when the car is in warranty. The light unit retails around £30 then there is the labour cost if you have to pay. Dealers are reluctant to swap out failing units until they finally die. Replacement of the led unit is a bit of a fiddle as the inside door cover needs to be removed to access the door handle to replace the failed unit. MB dealers should be able to do this taking about 30 minutes.
