I managed a dealer contribution on my GLC and picked it up last week. They have a 3 years free servicing offer coming up next weekend...........

Simon, how is the GLC? I'm in the process of my S205 going back under rejection and I'm tempted by one of these.

How does the 9 speed box perform and at motorway speed 70-80ish what rpm is it sat at?

Another question, did you opt for the artico or actual leather? I have full cranberry red leather on the S205 but I'm not over fussed about it, just need to ensure there is a base extension for under the leg support.

Looks a nice motor by the way :-)

Thanks Jay - I'm really pleased with it and was concerned about it feeling small and underpowered compared to my ML350. To be honest, I've only travelled one junction down the motorway so not sure on the revs but the 9 speed box feels smooth between gears and the engine isn't at all gruff.

I went for the artico upholstery as I had this in the ML and it looks and feels good - the seats also have the under leg support which is electrically operated so there's plenty of scope to play around with the seats to get comfy. I went for the 250AMG with Premium pack, 20 inch Titanium wheels and running boards.

I'm hoping to take it for a run over the weekend so finally I can familiarise myself with the car.

If you like the C Class, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

All the best whatever you choose.

Thanks Simon, all very useful information.

I love my C Class, shame I happened to get one put together by the (under achiever and proud) team. Problem is I also like the look of the CLS and from what I gather they are giving these things away.... Could be a bargain to be had.
