Well it's that time again - new rubber needed.

As I am off to France early September thought I ought to bite the bullet and get them changed. So this time (whilst I thought the Kumos were ok) I decided to go back to named rubber.

So I had fitted 4 x Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres. Total cost £560 at my local dealers. Hunted around and they were there or there a bouts on cost.

All reviews are excellent so hoping I can see the benefits.

Anyone else running them?

I recently paid around that for kumho runflats, maybe they are getting popular and pricing into branded territory. If so, may as well get branded tyres.

I ran F1s on my previous car (Astra Coupe Turbo), and I liked them a lot - they were superb value at the time (2002-ish?) but I suspect the tyres have evolved much since then.
