Had my wheels refurbed.

Hi everybody, havent been on the forum for a long time but thought i would show you all my nice shiny new refurbed wheels. I had them done in black chrome and i love em! £250 and only took the guys in Huntingdon a day to do:bannana: powder coated and painted, a big up to the wheelgenie.

Interesting! I'm just down the road in St. Neots and I've been checking out their website as the AMG wheels on my CLK are looking a tad shabby.

Judging by their price list (Welcome to The Wheel Genie - Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Centre) you must have dropped the wheels off loose?

If not how did you get such a good deal? Is there a secret password you can share?

Hi Rose Chap, as it says on the website "contact for latest deals" so i did and thats what they come up with. They do a good job blast the wheels back to alloy powder coat paint and lacquer refit the tyres and balance them all for £250 inc vat, i would reccomend them no problem.

Hi, they look smashing.
I'm on a set of 17" AMG Style ll, I believe, wearing pairs of 245/40s and 225/45s . And the alloys would look cleaner with a treatment I think.

Are they multi-piece wheels? Polished rim? £250 is ridiculously cheap if so!

on the car web site i help run we all get a discount aparantly

thats what they told mel when they did his subaru that if we mentioned our site and that mel sent us we would get a discount

unless there are more than 1 wheel refurbers in huntingdon

One piece wheel with chrome effect paint on the rim to look like poilished but more hard wearing. They do polishing as well but costs a bit more as more work involved thats why i went for this.

Shame they never colour coded the centre caps ...

Look weird with grey wheels and silver caps ...

I have a set of colour matched caps as well i just like to have these ones on at the mo (they did the caps in the price) but everybody is free to have an opinion thats what forums are for.

Nobody's saying that you aren't

I'm sure the wheels are very nicely finished. I particularly like the SLK ones , but just mentioned that they would look better with the centre caps done.
