Half Price CLK 63

Too be honest thats still got a fair drop ahead of it soon.

A lot of car for the money but nothing seems to be selling.

That clk55 Cab jay had would have done me and that was 20K cheaper.

Nice.

Agree, that car will be half price again in two years. I also liked Jay's CLK55 Cab, it was a decent price and a lot of car for the money.

Was looking at a new one in Mercedes Wakefield yesterday when I went to collect pair of front springs for the old coupe. Awesome, but you would have to be prepared to lose shed loads of dosh that I can't afford.
On a brighter note, springs now fitted, thanks Ian at 124 works, now need a centre exhaust box and MOT.

After reading about changing sportline springs I rang Ian and he said, no prob bring it up. Took him an hour, and he's offered to do the exhaust and sort the MOT, if I can find the time inbetween work before the MOT runs out I will take him up on it. Got to be worth the journey just to know its done right.

Some of the 63's in Mercedes range are a little out of whack price wise when new. We did run a thread in comparison of premium on E63 over C63 compared to the next model down in the line up...the E63 had a £20K discrepancy.

There's a great deal of "Badge Premium" on lot of these 63's....I'm not sure that CLK is really worth the new price tag it has despite being a great car....

I'm with you Jay,

These 63's in any of the range are losing a bucket load each year.

in 18 months thats got 15K or more to lose (close on £1K a month just too lose) before you turn the key...ouch
