According to the Halfords spec sheet for the oil on offer, it is.

One thing to notice is that its only a 4 litre container! -- whereas many other rival manufacturers offer 5 litre containers---- just something to be aware of when "doing the sums" on retail container prices for comparison purposes?

halfords aren't renowned for their genorosity - more for the rubbing of hands as a willing lamb enters their premises to have their wallet slaughtered due to needing "that part right now"

Costco often have offers on Castrol Oils, even without the offer price they still about 1/3 cheaper than Halfords etc..

£18.22 for 4L of 5W/30 Magnatec or £23.98 for 4L 5W/30 or 5W/40 Edge.

My local halfords had sold out. Asda is selling 4L GTX 10w40 semi for £12 though- good stuff for the old 190.

Just bought 2 x 4 litres of fully synthetic 5W-30 from Halfords for £20. Would have bought more but that's all they had left. It's selling fast. No wonder at that price. They still have plenty of semi-synthetic oil at the same price.
