Morning all,
Late last year, my head unit gave up the ghost and stopped working. As much as I tried, I couldn't find anyone in Norfolk to repair it. So, I scoured ebay for a replacement but to no avail and then, one of the same part number pinged up.
Quickly purchased, I installed it and it worked perfectly.
So, I advertised my old unit for spares or repairs and,it sold for the princely sum of £10 !
I mentioned to the buyer that, if he was able to repair it, I would pay to have it back so that the car stayed original.
This brilliant person actually repaired it and, gave a warranty on the item so, all back installed.
Now, the question is, in the replacement unit sitting my garage, are 6 CDs which I forgot to eject before taking it out of my car. I have the plug that came with it but need to know what are the main power cables and, which ones operate the CD player. If anyone can help, I would be grateful.
By the way, if anyone needs a head unit repair, I'm happy to pass on this guys details.
