Hi guys, is it possible to access the headlight ballast via arch liner or will I have to remove bumper ? need to change headlight module/ballast thanks.

Might have to remove the bumper and headlight, in terms of access there are a few obstruction through the arch liner to get to the screws?

Have you obtained the ballast?

I needed one last year for my E Class. I found a Hella (OEM) unit on eBay for several hundred £'a less than from MB.

If needed I can find the link to the seller.

Mine had to be coded as headlamps are different in their features. Mine has "intelligent lighting"

This is the eBay seller. The part was £212 from them, approx £438 from Mercedes
