Hi,
I’m considering buying a facelift SL 500 (231) with LED headlights.
One of the headlights has a serious misting issue. I’ve looked on the forums and some people say don’t worry and others report serious electrical issues if it’s left.

It is almost the only thing stopping me buying the car at the moment as I’ve read horror stories of £2000+ cost of repair.

What are your thoughts - picture below.

Thanks in advance

Slight misting in LED headlights is normal.....but to me that's excessive (it looks to have been bad enough to have had droplets running down the inside....not good)....the headlight probably has a leak or the rear cap missing or lose.

Agree with the above
My car a GLE got it new in 2016 - misting both from and back and a nbot more now but nothing like that.

Take the cap off and drop a silica gel sachet in....oh you can also tie a piece of cotton to fish it out if needed

works a treat!!
