SL55 amg R230 passenger side complete headlight unit please?

Old one has discoloured and a company tried to "restore it" but failed abysmally!:fail

Have you tried eBay? Quite a few listed there.

Have you tried to restore it yourself using a tube of super-whitening toothpaste and a cloth / water?

There was a video of someone doing this on you tube recently and I plan to give it a shot on my lights before deciding to change them

Anyone else tried this?

The problem is, I had a professional restoring company do this and they failed abysmally. They are coming back to try again under warranty - but I see a disaster ahead.

No. The off side main unit inner lens is partly cloudy - simples.
The comapny came to the garage to fix it prior to it being sold to me.
Next day I rock up and the lens has miked over again?

I took the car anyway and spent considerable time using a rubbing compound - no joy.

Still waiting for the company to come back under warranty.
