I have just joined the forum.

My name is Craig and im from Ayrshire in Scotland. I have recently bought a 2007 S203 C230 (V6) as my daily runner and new project. It has done 57K, 1 owner from new and full MB service history.

The first thing i done was to give the car a full service including transmission oil.

I bought a set of mercedes monoblock alloys, 18 x 8.5 et 35 to replace my 16 x 7 wheels.

I tried to fit the wheels today, when trying to fit the rear offside wheel the wheel would go on, however when i tightened the wheel bolts to the max the wheel was wobbling about on the rim. If was as if the bolts were too short. Can someone please advise me what spec of wheel bolt i should be using. The centre bore matched perfectly.

It can be that the bolts are too short for those wheels. You'll need to buy extended, long ones like these MERCEDES LONG WHEEL BOLTS FOR ALLOY WHEEL FITMENT X5 | eBay

You need Bolt Pack 1L from the following company
Packs of Wheel Nuts and Wheel Bolts from Alloy Wheels Direct

Or eBay, same spec as above bolts, must be radius head.
