Hello to MB ownership

Hello!

Just picked up a very well used (150,000 miles!) but also very well looked after 2009 W169 A-Class! Purchased for occasional shopping trips, however it's just performed it's first duties ferrying 4 people, a dog + assorted luggage for a weekend away in the Cotswolds admirably!

Have joined for some technical advice, having found myself on a thread here after most google searches related to the car - seems to be plenty of good knowledge that will hopefully come in useful going forward!

My wife has the same car in A170 engine form.....had it for about 6 years.....never spent a bean on it except tyres and DIY servicing (I'm ex-trade). Great little car if a little underpowered. Mind you hers has only done about 70,000 miles but is a little older than yours on a 56 plate (2006). Good luck with it!

My wife's W169 A180d - 95,000 miles - a few bulbs, battery and rear spring. Gone but not forgotten.
