Help finding front shock absorber for Clk 55 convertible (2003)

Hi all,,,,
Gonna need a front shock and it seems Mercedes no longer make them,,,
Any advice much appreciated,,,,seen a full set from Germany but only need 1 front shock absorber ,,,,

In you put your VIN into 7zap online, what is the latest mercedes part number listed?

Once you've entered your VIN, you will need to navigate to front suspension section of course

my local specialist said Mercedes said “ they no longer make or stock the part” ( been with my chaps for over 12 years) but they could have been given the wrong information aftrt reading your reply,,
I follow your advice and see what happens ,,

And then put that Mercedes part number into Autodoc, and it will list most of the aftermarket shocks available.
