They made 17,000 odd 2.3-16s, most went to the USA. I'd be surprised if there were 5,000 left. They're rare here. Can you remember the last time you saw a real one?

"Head is from a 1986 185bhp engine and has done 279,136 kilometers. It has been overhauled in 1998, price was 2600 DM, invoices are attached, and has done 45,000km since then. The complete vehicle has been destroyed in an accident, the head was kept.
All valve seats have been cut and grinded, all exhaust valve guides were renewed as well as all shaft sealings, 10 new valves (doesn't say wich ones), new intermediate gear, head has been shaved. Both cam sprockets were renewed."
