help please

The snag on the OVP relay is that there are a few pins parallel coupled to the 87 terminal.

Lets forget the OVP relay and go back to the fuel pump relay it would be best to take the top cover off and re solder every joint and make sure that they are all bright and shiny.

These relays are a known source of trouble
Would it not be simpler to purchase a new one, hence, not the best solderer in the world!

I am always nervous at saying that, what happens if it does not solve it, then I end up not sleeping and hating myself.
Well i think a trip to my local breakers could be in order, however I will be having an operation in a couple of days so could be off my feet for a bit, but may be able to get down towards the back end of next week. I will keep you posted. many thanks for all your help up to now.

If you are not using it you could post it to me and I could return it the same day re soldered

That is very kind of you. I may buy a used one and have a go at soldering the old one myself to keep as a spare. Thanks again for the offer.

What a forum this is, absolutly fantastic!

If you are getting one from the breakers make a note of the part number of your existing one ...

I went that route , and came back with a different one .... :o
