Help with Spring/shock replacement

I've now taken delivery of my new relic and as you can see from the photos it is high at the back and low at the front.

It has recently had genuine rear shocks fitted btw.

The height from wheel centre to arch is 16" at the rear and 14.25" at the front.

I am thinking of giving it more of a "sportline" look with slightly lower than standard springs, but need to take advice on the best route to take.

I'm all ears...

The ride height at the rear is patently off. Front looks normal On Mercedes of that vintage ride height is adjusted by a combination of spring height and spring pad thickness. The rear springs are too long or the spring pads are too thick. My old 220 coupe had REAR red [short springs] with 3 pip pads and FRONT blue [long] springs with 2 pip pads but it varies from car to car There are 4 pad thickness you can buy ranging from 8 to 23mm Remember also there is a lever amplification effect due to the suspension arm when calculating the drop required.

Wow, lots of bedtime reading to do then.

I thought it may be as simple as replacing something, but I'd best brush up the old pips and pads first.
