Do NOT scrub!

Get some squares of clean white cotton cloths

Just use a damp cloth to apply the cleaner, work into the leather using gentle pressure, allow to work few a few minutes then wipe off with another damp cloth. For really bad areas repeat.

Allow to dry and then apply the conditioner sparingly with a clean cloth. If it is absorbed quickly reapply another small amount. It should take 5-10mins for the conditioner to be absorbed.

also, i have not had the car long, and the person who owned it before me looks like he did not treat the leather very well. i have a badly worn part of leather on the drivers seat, i have black leather, and the worn part has turned like a white colour where the leather has cracked, with the cleaner repair this??

many thanks

Did you get the whole kit with the dye?
If you did, then use the kit as instructed. Use the cleaning gel, then a couple of goes with the conditioner (this also does a great job of cleaning) - the main thin is to get right into any cracks in the leather.
Then apply the dye - I used a paintbrush.
My seats were very badly worn around the bolsters, and using the above method came up almost like new - I can't speak too highly of the product.

any idea where i can get cotton cloths please ??

thanks

Old t-shirts? Most DIY and motor stores will sell cotton cloths.

I used a company called Buffalo which supplies a special leather dye/restorative for my steering wheel and seats. Extremely good product and only costs £15.99 delivered!

You can also use sponge as the applicator, like the ones for washing up, without the scouring pad.

Usual source of white cotton rag is old sheets.

:thumb:gliptone are really very good!
... i even like their air freshener (leather smell!!!!!)
