Hello to everyone,
After over 10years without owning a merc Im back!!!Ive owned 2 190's in the past, my first was in 1992, it was an 87 "D"astral silver 2.0, I had the later slab sides and facelift bumpers fitted, nice set of alloys, lowered and an amg spoiler,I was only 23 at the time and all my mates were driving xr2's and 3's, I thought I was the dogs hangers!!! my next 190 was a 1.8 92 "J" in black, I lowered this and fitted 16" 8 holes,this car had quite a good spec with rear heads and centre arm rest,unusual for a 1.8 as most were basic cars.Anyway, after various Jags and a temprimental 944 cabby Ive just bought myself a 93 300sl in silver with black leather and 18" amg's, it was love at first sight..The car has been pampered all its life and I knew I had to have it. I worked as a salesman for the mercedes agent in ulverston, cumbria in 1994/95 and 96 and didnt realise until I went to view this car and looked at the first owner in the sevice book that I remember the car from back then. It had ended up near blackpool, so im bringing her home!!
Ive had a look through the forums and noticed sometimes there are get togethers,,next one in the northwest i'll make an effort to attend,,it would be nice to meet a few new faces.
