So there I was happily posting away in the General section and I realised this morning I hadn't even introduced myself. Sorry, as a bloke I never read the manual....my bad
Anyhoo, I restore cars, mostly classics and vintage, but frankly any greasy, oily, spray painty, weldiness job makes me smile - odd I know! I blame my dad and occasionally the wife (but she puts up with all this so I have to give her that).
A long time ago I decided variety was my thing, so instead of a couple of new cars, I decided I'd have a stable of second hand cars to drive.
My 'modern' cars are all MB, older ones are a mix:
S Class W221 with all the toys and the new project
E Class W210 just finished restoring
60's Triumph Spitfire just finishing a complete restoration - a nut & bolt job!
60's Mercedes 280CE - just sold
50's Alvis TC - fully restored
60's Alvis TE - in storage awaiting my time!
60's Opus GT - very rare and in storage
And the wife's Ford Galaxy (a truly brilliant workhorse)
