Apologies for the absence but that holiday was long overdue.

Grav88, many thanks for helping Bubbles1977.

Bubbles1977, I presume you wanted to enquire about my lovely CLK. I sold my CLK last week. If you're still considering buying a CLK230 Komp and need help or advice, please let me know and i'll do what I can to help you out. In good condition (Full service history, receipts etc etc) you can get one from around £1,500, give or take.

If current fuel prices are of any concern to your budget, avoid a CLK230 Komp (auto) as you'll get about 17mpg around town and 30-35mpg on a long run, if you're extremely gentle. I'm now driving a C220 Cdi (Auto) and I get over 40mpg without even trying. Visits to the pumps feel like rare occasions by comparison to the CLK.
