hit a lamppost :(

scraped my car rear bumper on a lamppost. it looks liks the paint came off the lamppost. how would i buff it off safely?

Those dang lamp posts are doing this more frequently. The pesky things keep jumping oiut on innocent drivers. Unfortunately I would expect the cement to put deep scratches into the bodywork.

If you run your fingernail over the 'lamp post' and you can feel the scratch, then forget trying to polish it out. It will be time to put hand in pocket and cough up

i checked it. paint has definitely com off the lamp post . might be little scratches on the car though. i'll put pic up tomorow. would it come off when i goto t-cut it

managed to buff it all out using car polish. didnt hav resin polish which would've made it easier. alot of elbow grease thouth. there are a few light scratch but cant be noticed.
