when one job creates another During the fitting of a new leisure battery to the Vito (Drivers seat removal ) I had the doors open for so long that the Battery went too low to start so I pulled out the Normal battery to recharge it during the removal and hoiking the battery out it pulled the link cable to the other battery out of the fuse holder Piccie Below I cannot see how to get the connector left in out so that i can get another one and cant see whether it can be extracted without destroying the connector . so ....
1 Is the Connector left in removable
2 what type of connector is it likely to be
3 cable size is around 4/4.5mm so 10-12mm squared cross section I'll probably need a heavy duty crimper like one of these ? 6.0mm² - 25mm² Ratchet Crimp Tool
4 what is this type of holder called so i can order a replacement or an equivalent
theres only about 6-8 inches of the cable end thats accessible (ie the link cable that now has no end on it ) so the new end will have to be done in situ inside the seat base where the battery sits
any help welcome I could go to an auto electrician but for a few quid I'll have the crimping tool and be equipped for any future battery lug repairs
