Im going to be retrofitting some new seats to my 209 but most of the replacements im looking at come with the ortho function and it would do my nut in if the switches were there but not functioning even though its unlikely I would ever use them (didnt on my old 202)

Anyway what my question is: If I buy the pump and sort out the plumbing to the seats is it just a case of running a switched power to the pump. Does the pump only run when a vacuum is needed to the seats or is there a separate ecu that actually controls the pump?

Here is a link to the pump and there does not seem to be a lot of actual wires ??? Only looks like a couple of power wires ??

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Hi,
Beside the pump you will also need an accumulator, the output of the pump goes to the accumulator tank then out of the tank with two lines to each of the front seats. The accumulator is mounted in close proximity to the pump (at least it was in the 202).
As far as I am aware as long as there is no massage function then there is no additional components.

Cheers. Appreciated.
