How much is an SLK worth?

I was looking at the R171 SLK55 review on Parker's.

According to the company, used prices range from £2,119 to £5,104. They have ads for two on the website: £16,995 (60k miles) and £11,750 (100k miles).

(Yes, I know those are asking prices, but still...) Somebody on the reviewing side ought to communicate with somebody on the ad team, don't you think?

A quick Google shows posts from over 20 years ago discussing the fact that pissing in the wind was more accurate than Parker's pricing suggestions. Clearly nothing has changed, which makes it all the more miraculous they're still in business.

Most likely pricing of non-AMG SLKs, sounds about right for an SLK if you remove the 55 model which is anomalous relative to the rest of the range.
