Hi i'm now the owner of a 02 c220 estate. I have it since august and really enjoying it. Some small troubles that are not life threating but just niggle at me when i'm in the car.
1) Radio works then it goes of for no reason.
2) The CD changer was stolen on the previous owner and i cant find the lead or connector for it, or its original location.
3) The head light washer is not working could it be a fuse.
4) No manual with it.
If anyone has any suggestions i would very much appreciate it. The car was a stolen car from England that turned up in Ireland on dodgy plates its been locked up for nearly 5yr while the court and insurance companies got sorted.
Now its my baby and im very very happy with it.
Its currently running on standard 16" rims should i put bigger on it or will it mess up the ride and handling.
Cheers

1, Head unit is probably faulty. Quite a common issue.
2, It goes into the top shelf in the glovebox
3, Fuse or pump faulty
4, Order a new manual from mb dealer

Hi welcome to the forum :thumb:

My Audio 50 did that three or four times when I first got the car and hasn't done it since! Very strange.....

Personally, I'd keep the 16's on it for the winter at least, then maybe some 17's next year? Most tend to think the 16's are good for ride comfort and handling although I had 17's on my C270 which were nice but made the ride quite hard (an Avantgarde so the suspension was already quite hard!)
