I find these prices far too high. E.g, average prices for a bronze is 10.00, A valet is 30.00.

Beware of judging Bronze and thinking you need to pay for a higher level of service. Read the site as to what you get.

A "Bronze" valet is what I had. £20. Outside washed, windows cleaned to perfection, leathered immaculately (twice as there was a surprise shower half way through) and tyres dressed. Wheels perfect, chrome tailpipe spotless.

Interior vacuumed and mud cleared from the mats and backs of the seats (parents eh!). Change found under seat left for me.

It really looks the best it ever has and I have spent hours in preparation for GTGs previously.

I could have had the same job, outside only, including door and boot shuts for just £10. £10 on either job to include a full wax.

£6 for a car park quickie, 50/50 job with streaks left or £10 for a proper job? Choice is yours.

Someone else cleaning my car? Thats assault!

I used to be like that. Now I can't face the thought of going out in the cold and spraying cold water about trying to clean a car that is caked in mud, cement, you name it and hasn't been touched in months.

Good idea for my mum's birthday as it's what she wants + local dealer doesn't do it (her car, not her lol ;)!).

It doesn't say what the concentration of the Carnauba wax actually is but £129 for 2.5 ltrs does make a mockery of anything else I have seen (assuming its 'yellow' quality and not 0.0000001% by volume)

Looks good. I never can manage to get mine back to looking as it should do.

"Any Plastic trim can be restored to its former glory using Autosmarts unbelievable Silicon based gels"

How long does this actually last? Will the rubber/plastic parts look aged again after a wash or does it actually work well?

I think I'll give them a go.. Need to get my car looking good as I want to sell it!

Hi all,

The silicon based gels restore the plastic really well - better than any other products we have tried, and do seem to last a long time, its actually quite hard to get it off again without using some serious chemical! so with just basic washing it will be long lasting.

I will have a look at the concentration of the carnauba, it is classed as Gold carnauba and is a very thick yellow coloured paste wax, but can not remember the concentration

A picture that is conveniently over-exposed to create the illusion that you can see more in the reflection than you normally would.

Not that I wish to cast aspersions on this company, I'm sure they do a very good job. However, £130 to wash a car? I could do a similar job with about £10 of materials and 2 hours of my time.....

Yeah, should I be worried that they made me wear these special glasses before I looked at the car too? LOL

It's the same as any of the pictures I have taken! I think you think too much!

Read my initial report above- it really looked like that. I have never seen such a glow from the car - people in the office were commenting on the shine from the office!

The Carnuba wax is going on on Friday :D
