I think the VIN from reg site is no longer available. Struck me at the time I found it that it was a bit dubious.

The company that hosted it pulled it because each search was costing them money apparently ( and the MBClub were tearing the a$$ out of it )

There will still be ways of doing it, but not so likely F.O.C online.

If you're really serious about the car in question, I'd either ask the owner/seller for the details or carry out a proper HPI type check - they normally come up with the VIN IIRC.
