Please satisfy my curiosity.
My 1998 CLK has the Amg bumpers, side skirts and when it was new it also had the 17 AMG monoblock wheels on it and that got me wondering, was this an option for the car, So I trailed the internet and found this
"I'm assuming you're not the original owner of your car? If so, I'm guessing the previous owner of the car just put the AMG logo on the trunk lid. There was also a sports package available which included AMG bumpers and skirt package as well as AMG rims but that was an appearance package only. It did not alter the engine, suspension or anything else on the vehicle. This sports package was not very common on CLK320 models but it was standard on the CLK430."

So I assume my clk was ordered with this package when new?
Now that I have my CLK, I have noticed that it seems to have a lot of toys in it compared to alot of other ones that I looked at, so I take it that the original owner ticked a lot of the boxes on the option list?
And would I be able to find out from the original dealer who sold the car, what was on the order form, would they still hold that information for an older car?
Thanks in advance
