1999 C43 AMG
NOTE:

I don't have the money...
They're mainly left-hookers...
I couldn't afford to run it or insure it (alongside the C43)...
I think that it could possibly destroy the environment single-handedly...

BUT:

I STILL WANT ONE! :o

I do love the G-wagon too. If anyone has one for sale I would be interested.

All your reasons bar the destruction of the planet are valid, one car won't make a blind bit of difference.

Very popular in Cannes, saw 3 in the space of half a mile, all on Arabic plates. Also spotted 3 SLR's, a Maybach, an F430, a 997 GT3RS, and more Bentleys than you could shake a stick at.

I have come to the conclusion that some people have too much money, and clearly they need to give me some of it. :D

I know of a couple of G55's for sale as I know the guy who is the main G Wagen man in the UK...... Just up the road from me.

He's also just taken in a lovely G500 in black which looks the business.

Does he have a website? :D

Interesting, I wonder why the G55's aren't on his website.....the latest black 500 that I mentioned is the one on a Y Reg I think. Very nice car.

What puts me off the G Wagen, and I have been looking, is that the fuel consumption makes my 60 seem frugal

I saw a lodge style holiday home being delivered to it's park on the Isle of Wight last month. One which is effectively two static caravans bolted together, to make it double width.

Each half arrived on a low loader, perched between it and the cab was a serious looking G-Wagen all winched up with front and rear towbars. Once unloaded, the G was used to shunt it up the driveway, through the park and on to it's pitch.
