Whilst I agree with what you’re saying in terms of the operator and their ability to deliberately or accidentally present a different result, these cars are known to produce 50X BHP on the dyno.It could still be producing 487 horses... just depends on the dyno operator and the correction factor he was using to allow for the transmission losses, and ambient air pressure/temperature. 503 is only 3.28 percent more than quoted 487.... which is neither here or there and not many dynos are that accurate. With a few exceptions most cars produce at bit less than claimed....
£486 but with vat/duty to be added ?So... There was an element of man maths here.
When I was looking at doing the front discs, the front (composite aluminium bell, steel disc) PPP discs from Autodoc were £370 each (Brembo), (the earlier PP [2 piece bolted] discs were £421 each [again, Brembo], both 360mm).
Inchcape Mercedes were selling genuine 390mm for £343 each, granted I then needed the adapter bracket for a further £180ish (Mercedes Benz C63 W204 Bremsanlage 390x36 AMG Bremssattel Adapter 6-Kolben), but that's a minor detail.
I made a quick call to ClassicLine to make sure they were not going to nail my hat on for a brake mod, all good, no premium.
While I cant see myself ever hooning around a circuit to get the benefit of the bigger brakes, they do fill out the factory option 19" rim better.
Just as a weight comparison of C63 disc weights (according to Brembo):
Standard 360mm,16.1Kg
2 piece PP 360mm, 13.2Kg
Composite PPP 360mm 13.6Kg
2 piece Black Series 390mm 13.5Kg
Changed the front and rear flexi-brake pipes at the same time as refitting the calipers.
Changed/flushed the brake fluid too.

IN taught art to my sister in law. When I was at Anglesey in November, I got chatting to Ian from Popbang Colour POPBANGCOLOUR | IAN COOK . I had met him previously as he did some paintings for previous Race of Remembrance, this year he had also painted the Jag that JLR entered.

As a little indulgence for myself, I had him draw the C63, which now adorns my office wall. Very talented chap.
Its approx 220x220mm, drawn on card and too big for my scanner, so I had to take a picture which makes it look a bit washed out,
(bound to be asked, it was £150 framed).
