c250
Currently driving a 2009 c250 cdi. It has thrown a yellow engine managenmet light up on the dash. Diagnostic machine shown p2008 and p2006 codes. Looks like it is the variable intake flaps/motor. The only issue is i cant find a guide on how to first remove and then clean the manifold
thanks for the help.

So I had this recently on the 3.0 diesel. Bought the variable vein kit off of *ace turbos* who i would never use again. The kit didn't come with full internals and was no good. It was their customer service that was horrendous.

The other issue is my inlet manifold actually broke up and went into the turbo smashing up the internals. I don't know if the 250 suffers from this but it's worth checking.

Before you go ordering parts I'd get it off and have a look around. If it is just the case of the variable vein then there are kits for them circa £150.

I'm afraid I can't help on a job sheet for it though.

I fear its a serious dismantling job to get access to the inlet manifold assembly. As far as I can make out you will possibly have to remove some of the injection system pipework and filter followed by the EGR valve and cooler assembly before you can even see it!
there will be multiple cross referenced job sheets to do all this on the Mercedes WIS system- there won't just be one!
